916 – L’évolution récente de la gestion des documents d’activité

Lu au cours du dernier week end ce billet publié sur le blogue de James Lappin et intitulé « The State of Records Management in 2013 : the Challenges ». Bien que ce texte date déjà d’un peu plus d’un an, il n’en demeure pas moins d’actualité. L’auteur y présente six types d’interventions dans lesquelles il a été impliqué qui démontrent les préoccupations du marché face à la gestion des documents d’activité (Records Management). Parmi les sujets de réflexion proposés :

  • The tension between the need for stable records management and the need to keep up with the onward march of technology
  • There would be no tension between IT and records management if stand-alone records repositories worked (but they don’t)
  • Records management risks becoming a victim to the rapid pace of change and a consequent shortening of planning horizons
  • Resolving the tension between records management’s need for stability over time and an organisation’s need to keep pace with technology
